Sgrin 0.2.0 — take control of the zoom
Every zoom Sgrin adds shows up on the timeline, where you can move it, retime it or delete it.
- Zoom track on the timeline, where each zoom is a block you can drag, resize or remove.
- Add your own zooms anywhere, not just where Sgrin suggested one.
- Control how fast each zoom comes in and out, and how long it holds.
- The camera starts moving just before your click, so it arrives instead of chasing.
- A small floating window to start a recording and pick the area to capture.
- Choose your output shape — 4:3, 3:2 or 21:9.
- Softer, more filmic movement, with a real drop shadow under the recording.
- Two zooms that overlap no longer stack into an unusable close-up.
The release where the automatic zoom stopped being something that just happened to you. Sgrin still suggests, but you get the last word — and that has been the rule for everything it decides since.
